Due to the COVID-19 virus, in some areas, only essential businesses may remain open. Currently, the majority of construction and roofing type businesses have been deemed essential. However, there are instances in specific states and cities where certain construction projects and sites have been determined not to be essential and required to shut down.  For contractors working on construction sites deemed to be non-essential, there may be a pathway to APPLY FOR A WAIVER to remain open, or the government may subsequently decide to reopen construction on a limited or phased basis.

Please use the resources below to keep up to date with exemption materials in state and local areas where certain construction has been deemed non-essential, as well as information regarding state and local areas where construction was previously banned but is now reopening. Note that this site focuses on providing affected customers with information regarding potential exemptions to state and local shutdown orders and the reopening of construction in states and localities where construction was previously shut-down.  For a comprehensive and updated list of state and local orders relating to COVID-19 generally, please visit the National Roofing Contractors Association’s resources page: https://www.nrca.net/covid-19-resources-for-roofing-contractors.

As a reminder, all Beacon branches are serving customers.  Please use our PRO+ online ordering platform to help ensure you and your team’s safety as you work remotely.
